Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy is in conventional western medicine very hard to successfully treat. Usually patients are given drug based regimen and are subject additionally to severe to moderate side effects.

Thai Foot Massage also known as “Thai foot Reflexology” has long been known to be beneficial in reducing and or eliminating the symptoms of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy which commonly affect Type 2 Diabetic patients. This condition makes life miserable and the uncontrolled pain often drives the patient to lose the ability to function normally or even walk.

Researchers at Khon Kaen University, Thailand found in a randomized trial that patients receiving even a single session showed significant positive results! Patients receiving a standard session for only 30 minutes, three times a week for two weeks continued to outperform results from conventional drug based treatments.  Thai foot massage (Thai Reflexology) is a subset of Thai Traditional Medicine: Thai Traditional Massage and has been practiced by indigenous peoples in Thailand for over 1000 years. Thai Foot Massage is recommended not just for Diabetes patients but any patients suffering from Peripheral Neruopathy commly associated with side effects of prescription drugs.
